The 2017 NRCHA World's Greatest Horseman is John Swales (the first Canadian to ever nab the title), riding our very own stallion, Heza Diamond Spark to the win in Fort Worth, Texas. "Jesse and I are overwhelmed by the amazing support and kind words from everyone. Our phones and facebook are lighting up and we can't keep up! So here is a thank you to everyone, from the bottom of our hearts. The tears are flowing down my face. Jesse and I have worked so hard to build a breeding program and we feel another step closer to our goals and dreams. Thank you so much John Swales for believing in our stallion, we knew you guys could do it, and you put on one hell of a show out there! We are Jesse and Elyse Thomson, and 7P Ranch is our labour of love: a training and quarter horse breeding facility located in beautiful Clinton, British Columbia (formerly between High River and Longview looking out over the Rocky Mountains, in Southern Alberta, Canada). We proudly stand two Quarter Horse stallions: Heza Diamond Spark (Diamond J Star x Sheza Shinette by Shining Spark) and Sweeter Than Pepto (Peptoboonsmal x Sweet Lil Lena by Smart Little Lena) and with broodmares carefully chosen for their pedigrees, looks, athletic ability and conformation, we focus on breeding for the next generation of champions... Raising quality horses, one foal at a time. We also offer training -- everything from starting to finishing your horse and everything in between. Though we specialize in Working Cow Horse and Roping horses, we feel all horses need that critical start, whether they’re cow horses, jumping horses, dressage horses, roping and rodeo horses, or trail and western riding horses. And we don’t just train horses: we train people too! With lessons and clinics from beginner to advanced. | |
